Howling Tuner
A tuner for violin, cello, guitar and ukulele, with a live pitch plot and a metronome.

Tune fast
Pick your instrument and it detects which string you're playing, or tap a string to tune just that one, which keeps low cello and guitar strings steady. The needle turns green when you're in tune, and each string gets a check mark once it holds. Long-press a string to hear its reference note.
Alternate tunings
Guitar: standard, Drop D, half step down, full step down, Drop C, DADGAD, Open G and Open D. Ukulele: standard (high G), low G, D tuning and baritone. Set the reference pitch anywhere from A4 = 415 to 466 Hz.
See your pitch
A scrolling piano-roll plot shows your pitch over time, with your strings marked. Pinch to zoom, drag back through what you just played, or go full screen. Handy for checking intonation while you practice scales.
Steady readings
Smoothing (off, low, medium or high) calms the needle but still follows quickly when you turn a peg. The tuner also ignores octave jumps, the sharp pluck attack and noisy fading notes. Each of these can be switched on or off.
Metronome
Start it right from the pitch plot and drag it sideways to change the tempo: 30 to 250 BPM, with tap tempo and an accented first beat. The tuner skips its clicks so they don't show up as notes.
